Catherine R. Kendrick
Catherine concentrates her practice on complex family law matters involving equity compensation, financial apportionment, fiduciary duties, property characterization, division and allocation, business valuation, spousal and child support, and child custody disputes. Catherine has extensive experience assisting clients through all phases of litigation and through trial both before private judges and in the Bay Area public courthouses. In addition to being a litigator, Catherine drafts and negotiates premarital and post-marital agreements and enjoys creatively advising her clients in mediation and settlement negotiations.
Prior to joining Simborg•Killingsworth, Catherine was a senior associate at DeLacey, Riebel & Shindell, LLP, and an associate at the Hersh Family Law Practice in San Francisco. Prior to that, Catherine practiced complex litigation in a large firm in San Francisco.
Before becoming an attorney, Catherine was a quantitative risk analyst for Bank of America. She received a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Tulane University.
Catherine is a Certified Family Law Specialist, and a member of the San Francisco County Bar Association, the Marin County Bar Association, the Family Law Institute, and the Richard M. Sangster Inn of Court. She has been selected to the Rising Stars list, 2016 – 2018 and is honored as a Top Rated Family Law Attorney in San Francisco, CA, Super Lawyers.
